I've attempted here to explain my banjo set up, and the materials used on my banjo.

The banjo pictured above is my main axe right now.  The neck is work of Bill Sullivan and First Quality Music Supplies.  The pot consists of a burl walnut Cox resonator, a 19th Century maple rim, a Huber no hole tone ring, a 11/16" Snuffy Smith Crowe spaced bridge, a Presto tailpiece, a tension hoop and one piece flange from First Quality also, and a Remo Head signed by Earl Scruggs.

I used to own an Epiphone banjo, which I sold to a friend of mine recently.  It had been my main banjo for all the years I played up until March of 2005.  It has a Tennessee 20 ring and a Cox maple rim.
