Adamant Entertainment split ties with Airship27 Productions and Airship27 Productions basically closed its doors since there was no publisher to print the material. The writers and artist pretty much dispersed and went in different directions. Many took the same direction I did. We went back to Wild Cat Books our original publisher and asked if he wanted our material. Ron Hanna, the mind behind Wild Cat Books, graciously took us back.

 

Ron Hanna sent me an email that next week after all this had happened and said he was so busy he did not know which end was up. He said he had an idea for Captain Midnight and wanted to run it past me. Ron wanted to do a book like the old Marvel 2-in-1 comic book where two stories were told about the same character. Instead of just one character, we would have two characters. Captain Midnight and The Griffon. Now, just one problem with that, I had only written one Captain Midnight story, so far. I was in the beginning stages of Captain Midnight 2 but no where close to being done. He said write it and get it to him.

 

The second Captain Midnight story is currently underway and I'm under the gun to get it done which is not what I intended but that's how this crazy writing business works sometimes.

 

So now, I have to plug two stories while I write the second story along with a new title and publisher.

 

So far, its been more fun than I should be allowed to have. The second Captain Midnight story is called (drum roll, please) Scourge of the Sky Pirates. It's an action packed adventure story that you will not want to miss!
