Christian Radio

 

            There is no perfect option for Christian radio in the Robinson/Crawford County area.  We have two sources that I know of and listen to.  They are:

 

WBGL - 91.7FM Champaign and 88.5FM Terre Haute

            This is a great station for contemporary Christian music and news and some talk.  However, it’s signal is very weak in this area.  I  have been on a 4 year campaign to correct this problem, but the FCC has a ban on new bandwidth numbers right now.  Hopefully, someday, we can get this station better in this area.  Depending on your location and radio, you may get lucky and be able to pick it up.  Try both frequencies.

 We are working on a deal to bring WBGL directly to Robinson via a repeater-relay tower.  So far we have been blocked by red tape in doing so.  Please pray for this to happen.

WKZI - 800AM or 93.9FM in Casey

            This station comes in loud and clear most of the time on both bands.  However, it is NOT a contemporary Christian music station.  It is a talk radio.  Now, I love talk and preaching radio.  This is definitely an 'old school' station, but some of the messages sure are good.  It does play some music from time to time, but mainly I just tune in to hear certain preachers I like.  See the link on this website to "Preaching Links" to find some times of preachers you may want to listen to sometime.
