I have been involved with the video projection system in my church since day one.   I worked with salesmen and made proposals to the board.  When it finally was approved, I was part of the team hanging the screen, buying the computer and getting everything setup.

We currently use Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 for our projection software in the sanctuary.  We have a computer and projector setup in the Youth Center and are using Media Shout there.  In the future we plan on buying Media Shout for the sanctuary, also.

Our current computer in the sanctuary is a P4 2.0 GHz with 512MB memory and a video card with two outputs, one for the monitor and one for the projector.  We also have a VCR and a DVD connected to the projector.  The projector we currently use is a Sanyo PLC-XF20, 5,000 lumens using 4 bulbs.  The projector uses a long-throw lens to project to the screen 100' away.
