How Can You Join?
To join we need a completed application which can be picked up at the Emergency Operations Center located in the Fayette
County Courhouse Annex.
Candidates must pass a background check after which they will be contacted to arrange an interview. Successful
admission into the Fayette County EMA depends on a majority vote by the membership in favor of acceptance.

Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in joining our organization to contact our office and request additional information and
an application. New Members are required to serve one year as a C.E.R.T. team member prior to becoming a full member
of the Fayette County EMA.
Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are eleigible to receive training in
CPR, First-Aid, Search & Rescue, Emergency Management, and more available in-house as well as being offered through the
Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
