At the time our first Hertogs came to find his fortune in Antwerp, there were already other Hertogs who had come from Northern Brabant. Arnold's business is described as being a saw-mill on Couvent Street. This original business led to the future establishment of a civil engineering enterprise which will make the fortune of the family.
