Elizabeth Halsey ¹ was born on 27 Sep 1635 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England. She died on 4 Mar 1725 in Southampton, Suffolk, New York, USA. Elizabeth married ¹ Richard Howell ¹.

Reverend Ysbrand van Dijk [Parents] was born ¹ on 2 Nov 1883 in Stad Groningen, The Netherlands. He died on 8 Feb 1975. He was buried ² in Centrale Begraafplaats West, Tilburg, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands. Ysbrand married ³ Petronella Johanna Elsevier Stokmans on 25 Sep 1913 in Aarlanderveen, Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands.

Ysbrand is said to have been the half brother of Anna (VAN DIJK) KRAMER. This is questionable, Ysbrand was born 6 days before the death of Wilhelmina Van Dijk. Many in the family would love to learn what became of Ysbrand and his descendants (if any).

He went to Hoogkerk on February 4th, 1884; returned to Groningen in 1889. In 1886 he's "adopted" by his uncle Jan Tromp and is not going to the USA! Instead he goes to Amsterdam in 1909, only 16 years of age.  To do what? To live with whom? - Jan van der Meulen

In 1909, the 3rd of August, Ijsbrand moves to Nieuwveen (Zuid-Holland). Ijsbrand is then called "foster-brother".

Petronella Johanna Elsevier Stokmans ¹ was born ^{2, 3} on 18 Aug 1884 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, The Netherlands. She died ⁴ on 11 May 1970. Petronella married ⁶ Reverend Ysbrand van Dijk on 25 Sep 1913 in Aarlanderveen, Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands.
