Our kennel is located in Terre Haute, a small city with a big heart in the western portion of Indiana about an hour west of Indianapolis.

All of my dogs are my pets and are very special to me. Most of my free time is spent with them playing, fetching, learning to walk on leads for showing and then just the plain lazy time sitting on the breezeway watching them play and them watching me rest.

I take a lot of pride in my Cockers and my kennels. All of my Cockers are groomed by me on a regular basis, except the ones that are being shown and I leave that up to the professionals as I have not mastered that technique as of yet.

All of the Mom's here at Kingtree Cockers and there puppies are raised inside so that they can get the extra attention needed as this can be a trying time for a few days for Mama and her newborns. Puppies start there weaning process at approximately 4 weeks of age by being introduced to IAMS puppy food. I soak the food with warm water for a couple of weeks and then put dry food in a bowl for them and very soon its the dry that is gone and the wet food left and then you know they are doing great. I will keep them with there Mom's usually until they are about 7-10 weeks. I try to keep a wrap on Mom after 6 weeks of age so the weaning process is usually complete by this time......
