BEARSKIN TRAIL1
This 18.2 mile, crushed red granite trail stretches from Minocqua to
Harshaw on an old railroad bed. Motorized vehicles are prohibited,
except fro snowmobiles in winter.
MADELINE1
Two miles southeast of Woodruff on Hwy. 47, one mile east on
Hwy. J , north 1.75 miles on Rudolph Road.
MCNAUGHTON1
Thirteen miles south of Woodruff on Hwy. 47, west on Kildare
Road.
LUMBERJACK1
Toke "Old K" east of Bolder Junction to Concora Road
or Hwy. M to Hwy. K, east five miles to Nixon Lake Road. Trail
connects with the Escanaba trail.
RAVEN1
Two miles southeast of Woodruff, Take Hwy. 47, then north 0.5 miles
on Woodruff Road.

COPPER
FALLS STATE PARK
Easy to find and is on most state maps.
SUPERIOR
FALLS
90 foot drop - Located in the Lake Superior/Saxon area. Take
Hwy. 122 north of U.S. 2 about 4.2 miles. You will cross the
Michigan-Wisconsin border. Continue another .5 miles, then turn left
on the gravel road. A parking lot is available.
PETERSON
FALLS
35 Foot Drop - Located on the east branch of the Montreal River.
Start at the Hwy. 51 and 2 overpass north of Hurley and proceed west on
U.S. 2 for 0.6 miles. Turn right on the gravel road at the Ero Nasi
Construction Company sign. Follow this dirt road and continue to
travel straight east. Do not take any side roads that branch
off. Continue for 0.3 miles and park at the small turnaround.
Follow the foot path located on the north side of the parking area.,
It is about 1/4 mile walk to the falls.
POTATO
RIVER FALLS
90 Foot Drop - Gurney area. Head south on Hwy. 169, 2.8 miles
through the Town of Gurney. Turn west on Potato River Falls Road and
continue for 1.5 miles. Campsites and rustic picnic areas are
available.
UPSON
FALLS
18 Foot Drop - Near the
Upson area. Take Hwy. 77 west from Hurley into Upson. Turn
north at Upson Town Park sign, then left at the end of the street.
After crossing the river, turn left into Upson Town Park. Camping
and picnic area is available.
