Beginner Class is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 11:30 am. For children who are potty trained and 3 years old by 8/31/09. Children enjoy crafts and free play for the first part of class. Free play includes a sand or water table, puzzles, playdough, sticker books, painting, drawing, imaginative play in a castle, cooking in the kitchen, or dressing up, cars, blocks and other hands on fun learning activities. Then the children head to circle time where they learn about the weather, days of the week, counting, ABCs and 123s and other fun things in a way that is fun for the kids. After circle time the children have a small healthy snack they bring with them each day. Children are encouraged to celebrate their birthdays during snack time if the parents so with to bring something in to share. Please ask your teacher about any food allergies so no child is left out. After snack the children either head outside to the playground, wheather permitting, or to the gym for excersize and free play for about thirty minutes. The last half hour of class is spent again in circle time with stories, music, and interactive learning. or however Nicole would like to word this. Young Pre-K
Class is Monday (optional), Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm Whether your child attends this class 3 or 4 days a week they will learn the same amount of information. The Monday kids will simply break up their week a litle more.
