The X-files movie is a good thought provoking film.The reason for the anemic boxoffice is that the film is too cerebreal for summer movie goers that want CGI graphics and explosions galore.Fox probably made a mistake giving it a summer release.An October release with less competition and tieing into Halloween would have fared better.But it may still be in theaters by Halloween and could be a sleeper.Lets hope so.

 

I would like to see Chris Carter relaunch the series with new agents (Robert Patrick and?)with Maulder and Scully being cameoed occassionally.It would be interesting.
