8. Kellogg, Idaho Collage Postcard

I was approved to use the Silver Valley logo through the Historic Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce. I created this postcard using my photos in conjuncton with the Kellogg Visitor Center. I received them March 3, 2014. You should be able to find this postcard in local stores soon, including the Kellogg Visitor Center. I took these pictures right after July 4th last year, 2013. It was my first time bike riding to Kellogg on our fabulous bike path and took a real good look around the center of Kellogg. Driving past the area is definitely not the same as walking.

10. Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes-Osburn, ID

The bike path in Osburn offers plenty of sights. I love the Gene Day pond and the park! Just after I printed these postcards, I saw and took photos of a moose and muskrat at the same time. As I was taking pictures of the muskrat, I turned to my left and noticed a young moose staring at me not far away.

A very nice couple worked very hard over the years at creating a beautiful garden facing the bike path. All who pass by are made welcomed by the added attractions.

In addition to the other sights, there are so many varieties of trees and flowers. We have had fun berry picking the last few years.

This is a beautiful campground on the Highway 90 Frontage Road.

16. Sierra Silver Mine in Wallace, ID

This postcard shows some of the interesting mining equipment in the Sierra Silver Mine. The tour also includes a ride around Wallace on their trolley.

17. Crystal Gold Mine in Kellogg, Idaho

This interesting mine tour shows the ores that were mined in the 1880s. As part of the tour, one can pan for gold.

18. Hiawatha Trail

These photos were taken 2014 in July. This was my first time taking the Hiawatha Trail, but hopefully not my last. A beautiful and enjoyable ride! I took plenty of pictures all along the way.Toward the end of the trail, a deer was standing on the path and allowed me to take a few quick pictures of him. That just topped off the pleasant day.

Wallace is such an interesting quaint town! They offer plenty of festivities throughout the tourist seasons.
