The Internet has fostered a boom in creating handmade items to be distributed to charities wherever they may be and whomever or whatever they may serve.  Whether you knit, crochet, sew, quilt or do some other craft, there is someone who is sick, sad, alone, homeless, afraid or in want who will not only benefit from what you make for them but also from the little bit of love that is attached to any such gift.

Northwest Wings of Love formed on July 4, 2003, to help organize these efforts on behalf of organizations in the Pacific Northwest.  We choose an organization a month, rotating through the six states and provinces we serve.

Our only rule for participation is that you love the work you do with us and for these worthy organizations.  We are set up as a Yahoogroups discussion list, and the site associated with it has links, photos, messages, chat and much more.

We are new and small, but our hearts and sheer desire to give makes up for it.  We hope you will join us.
