Ukraine Campaign 1994

May 20, 2026

Ukraine Campaign 1994 (packaged, Stand-Alone) is here, and here and here .  Both, the Ukraine Campaign 1994 and the Aegean Campaign 1997 have been packaged together into one set.

This is a 50-mission fictional campaign that takes place from June 24 to September 07, 1994.  This campaign is a complete, brand new (built in 2026) campaign with inspirations of the original default campaign, and closely follows the script given by the original mission briefings and video inserts.

Unlike some other usnraptor campaigns that require the Playset to run, Ukraine Campaign 1994 is now (or, more accurately, once again) a stand-alone campaign set. This means it is designed to run solely in a default Fighters Anthology installation that has been properly patched to version 1.02.  {For gallery pictures, scroll down.}

{Note: this updated stand-alone version is NOT in the current Playset.  It will be included in the next Playset release.}  Be sure to read the installation instructions found inside the .zip file, labeled READ ME .txt .

Campaign Features :

- Player flies four different carrier aircraft (A-6E, F-14B, F/A-18C/D) in eight different mission types.

- All missions posted as both Single Missions and Campaign Missions.

- Fairly moderate-expert missions, making this a fun campaign for well-seasoned FA players.

- Player's aircraft is pre-armed and fueled with the "ideal" mission loadout, for every mission.

- Player guides giving a brief mission description and goals, labeled "Ukraine 1994 mission desc.txt".

- Player guides to defeating some difficult missions in the missions' Debrief - Mission Failure section.

- Fifteen special codes used.  (example: "This is Aeroflot Flight 261. Emergency!")

- The reappearance of Plurry's C-2A and beautiful Su-27, CAG Hotshot's P-3, Hawke's F-14.

- The introduction of Eagle114th's swing-wing fix for F-14, and reappearance of his jet engine exhaust.

- The introduction of special "Navy", "Marine", and squadron markings on fleet aircraft, by USNRaptor.

- New and/or improved aircraft, ordnance, ships, and weapon systems.

Campaign development history

February 27, 2016, honoring a request, Zephyr posted on FARC a moderately revised, stand-alone Ukraine Campaign by USNRaptor.  The campaign was redated to 1994 to coincide with the maiden deployment of USS George Washington.

May 04, 2018, the original Playset is published.  Part of the Playset package includes Ukraine Campaign 1994 (v. 2016).  As the Playset progressed through the many revisions, so did the Ukraine Campaign.

May 30, 2022, the campaign received a .cam file that allows the removal of videos.  Additionally, a major breakthrough in the discovery of the inner workings of "special codes" allowed for the reintroduction of the codes into user-modified missions.

June, 2024, with the Playset breaching the Fighters Anthology 'total file limit', it was decided to convert all campaigns to stand-alone projects. Ukraine Campaign 1994 was chosen 9th in line for conversion.

January 18, 2026,  began construction of a complete rebuild of the campaign.  The rebuild would include new weapon systems (i.e. S-300 SAM system), updated map with additional airports and scenery, and many of the major developments / improvements added to the Playset over the last several years.  The Aegean Campaign 1997 would start as the basic library block to build upon, to be packaged together upon release.

May 20, 2026, combined the brand new Ukraine Campaign 1994 with Aegean Campaign 1997 in one stand-alone package, and published.
