Just in! News that some very dedicated (and curious) friends from New Zealand will be visiting! All the animals here at FindPeanut.com are so excited to meet some of their fans. Kwame authoritatively has been instructing the animals to calm down - that he is no stranger to fame - and that there is no need to get so nervous. (But secretly he worries if he needs to squeeze in another fragrant bubble bath before they come.) Here's some of the FindPeanut.com Crew, taking a picture with their new friends from New Zealand, Dan and Becca. It was a very exciting encounter for the animals. At first they were very shy. But Kwame broke the ice and said, "Let's get on with this photoshoot!" and struck his "casual monkey" pose. Little Bird proceeded to show off his toes, proudly displaying each one to Dan. Peckle made sure no one handled him, especially his big, fat head. Peanut wandered over to the nearby desk lamp, to help himself to a better view. The lamp was not on, so he could not warm (read: scorch) his white underside. Isaiah warmed up to the new friends very quickly and went on to beg for something to eat. "I'm so hungry!" He did manage to bum a hug from Dan. Ichiro was just overcome with all the attention, but could only say "sushi-ya" and "Precious" (he heard about 'The Two Towers' movie recently). He's been having a hard time picking up English since he's been with us. Julian asked Dan if he wanted a red berry. Dan declined and asked something to the effect of "Are you afraid of losing your red berry?" Julian scoffed and laughed, explaining that it was just a plastic bead, sewn onto his paws. With that, the Crew said their goodbyes to their New Zealand friends and wished them a safe and entertaining 13 hour flight back home.
