The only way to walk with the Lord is spiritually.  The world has become exceedingly refined at being able to lure people away from the Lord with our day to day activies or I prefer the word routine.  Our "routine" should be to walk with our Lord first each day and he will set the tone and the agenda for the rest of the day.  As Pastor Randy reminded us of ;

Rom 13:13 Let us conduct ourselves properly, as people who live in the light of day---no orgies or drunkenness, no immorality or indecency, no fighting or jealousy.

 

In today's day and age with evil so rampant, it is difficult to reach out and help when it could get you beatened, robbed or murdered.  But no matter how fearful we are, the command to go and do like the Samaritan still stands.  Jesus said, "Do not be afraid for your life, not one hair on your head will perish".  So the next time you feel timid about doing the right thing when it comes to helping someone out, remember if the Lord is for you, who can stand against you?  Trust in the Lord in everything you do.  If you are faithful to the very end (even death), you will receive a crown of eternal life from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
