WHERE'S THE MEAT?
Sadly, it appears that the majority of Christians these days cannot handle the solid Word of God.  In 1 Corinthians chapter 3 the Apostle Paul says;

1Co 3:2 I had to feed you milk, not solid food, because you were not ready for it. And even now you are not ready for it,
1Co 3:3 because you still live as the people of this world live.

Folks, time is running out!  Most churches dwell on pick-me-up, feel good sermons giving the flock milk instead of real food!  As Christians, we need to accept and understand that we are living in the last days, the end times!  Everything that has been foretold by Jesus and Daniel are being played out right before our eyes!  The Pastors in the pulpits need to be getting the world ready for the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!  We need the solid food that will prepare our hearts and minds for that great day of redemption so that we will not be caught unaware like a thief in the night on that great day.

TIME OF COMMITMENT (Cont'd)
Proverbs chapter 3 once again reminds us that there is a blessing for seeking God in all our ways;

Pro 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

In today's day and age, with so much going on around us and in the news and everything seems to be moving at such a fast pace,  it is so easy to become focused on those things rather than staying focused on God.  I pray that you will stay in God's word every day and acknowledge him in everything that you say and do.  If you do, you can claim Proverbs 3:2!

TIME OF COMMITMENT
With the events of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina they are just a preview of the things that are coming.  Jesus said in  (Luk 21:26)

"Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."

These events are suppose to draw us closer to each other and to God.  The aftermath of Katrina is a perfect example of the chaos that is certain even for a country as modern as ours!  The things that are coming on the earth will not be like anything we have ever seen or heard nor will it ever be again.  Jesus even went as far as to say that if he didn't return no flesh would survive!  Now that is bad!

The only ones to be spared all this pain and suffering are God's children (Christians - True Believers).  So where do you stand?  Now is the time for salvation, don't put it off another minute!  Now is the time for commitment to the Lord so that you can escape all that will be coming on the earth.  If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, I invite you to click on this link Salvation and come the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ!  God Bless You.

This week's memory verse

bible3_sm.jpg

1 Samuel 16:7  The Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

COAT DRIVE - We want to bless people this winter by providing them with a coat, hat, scarf or gloves.  If you have any of these items in storage, in closets or simply laying around in the way and you KNOW you will most likely never wear these items again, please bring them in to the church so that they can be bundled up and given to someone who could really use them now.  God bless you as you give.

FAMILY BIBLE STUDY - We want to invite you to come to our Family Bible study.  You will get sound Biblical teaching and great fellowship.  It begins at 10am and we have a class just for you.

SPECIAL MUSIC - We are in need of singers and musicians for our special music for Sunday morning.  If you would like to help, please let Shirley King know or call (269) 303-0330.

JUST ASK SOMEONE - This week will you ask someone to come to church?  It is easy to do.  Just try and see what happens.

REMINDER: We have a Prayer dish and Praise dish in the foyer.  All are welcome to put your requests in and we will pray over these and add them to the next bulletin for prayer. You can also go to the prayer section of this website to submit prayer requests online.
