HE IS RISEN
That is what the angel said to the women after he rolled the stone away!  He didn't roll the stone away to let Jesus out, but so the women could see inside and indeed see that Jesus was gone because he has risen!  Jesus the first fruit of all that will be raised to eternal life that have put their faith and trust in him!  We constantly groan in these bodies waiting for the day that our bodies will be redeemed.  It is an excitement and hope that we have in our hearts, but while we wait for that glorious, blessed day, we must abound in the work of the Lord in spreading that same hope that is in our hearts to others.  Have you told anyone about Jesus today?

THE BLIND SHALL SEE
Our memory verse says Jesus had compassion on the two blind men, touched them and they received their sight.  I think about the multitude that followed Jesus around to listen to him and to see the miracles he performed wondering who he was and how he did them.  Here we have two blind men who cannot see the miracles and were not able to follow him around, but knew it was the Lord that passed by at the gate when they called out to him.  Being blind they DID see and by faith from what they heard about Jesus they knew in their heart he was the Lord, the only begotten son of God who could heal them.  Their excitement and faith could not be squelched by the rebukers trying to quiet them when they cried out have mercy on us Lord!  According to your faith be it unto you...  How strong is your faith?  Do you waiver when rebuked for what you believe or do you cry out all the more Lord, Lord have mercy on me.  Remember that mercy is for the whole world, so tell somebody today what Jesus has done for you.

YOUR REASONABLE SERVICE TO THE LORD
What is our reasonable service to the Lord?  Pastor Randy gave us four points to consider in our service to the Lord.  They are 1) Present self to him,  2) Present your life to him, 3) Present your time to him, and 4) Present your money to him.  We know that we are stewards of all that God has given us.  We must manage all the gifts and blessings for his glory.  God did not hold back even his son for us, but gave him up as a sacrifice for us.  We can do no less in our thanks, love and service for the Lord in return.  We do not do it as payback for what he did, but for the love he first showed us while were still lost and full of sin.  Only your faith can please the Lord, so make him first in all that you do, which is your reasonable service and meditate on his word obeying all that he commands until that glorious day he comes to take us home!  Amen.

This week's memory verse

1 Samuel 16:7  The Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

COAT DRIVE - We want to bless people this winter by providing them with a coat, hat, scarf or gloves.  If you have any of these items in storage, in closets or simply laying around in the way and you KNOW you will most likely never wear these items again, please bring them in to the church so that they can be bundled up and given to someone who could really use them now.  God bless you as you give.

FAMILY BIBLE STUDY - We want to invite you to come to our Family Bible study.  You will get sound Biblical teaching and great fellowship.  It begins at 10am and we have a class just for you.

SPECIAL MUSIC - We are in need of singers and musicians for our special music for Sunday morning.  If you would like to help, please let Shirley King know or call (269) 303-0330.

JUST ASK SOMEONE - This week will you ask someone to come to church?  It is easy to do.  Just try and see what happens.

REMINDER: We have a Prayer dish and Praise dish in the foyer.  All are welcome to put your requests in and we will pray over these and add them to the next bulletin for prayer. You can also go to the prayer section of this website to submit prayer requests online.
