ON FIRE FOR JESUS?
Are you on fire for Jesus? Would you say yes? How would you
describe someone who is on fire for Jesus? Is even saying "on fire" appropriate? Lots of questions, but questions
can get us thinking. Jesus said in Luke 14:26 that we have to love him more than anyone else. Can you say that?
When Jesus comes to take us off this planet, are you going to be only concerned with seeing Jesus or looking around to see
if your family is with you? You will have to look into your own heart to answer that question truthfully, but take heed,
God knows. I pray that Jesus is number one in your life, if not, repent and settle it in your heart now once and for
all.

ABIDING IN THE VINE
In John 15:5, Jesus said he is the vine and we are the branches and if we
abide in one another, we bring forth much fruit. If we don't abide in the vine then we don't bring forth any fruit.
We know that if we tear or cut a branch from the vine it will wither and die, but while it is attached to the vine, it draws
its nurishment from the vine. What nurishment do we draw from the Lord if we abide in him? Remember, the union
between the branch and the vine is a constant one, both day and night, 24/7. If it gets cut from the vine it starts
to wither and die in a very short time. The nurishment we draw from the Lord is his Word. We have to stay in it
every day and draw strength from it. The Lord says his word never returns to him void. If we stay in his word,
we have strength to get us through the day, but if we get away from it we will start to wither and if we are away too long,
we will surely die. Just try staying away from God's word for a while. It won't be long before sin, doubt and
troubles creep into your daily life. The Bible will keep you from sin, but sin will keep you from the Bible.

1 Samuel 16:7 The Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks
at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
COAT DRIVE - We want to bless people
this winter by providing them with a coat, hat, scarf or gloves. If you have any of these items in storage, in closets or
simply laying around in the way and you KNOW you will most likely never wear these items again, please bring them in to the
church so that they can be bundled up and given to someone who could really use them now. God bless you as you give.
FAMILY BIBLE STUDY - We want to invite you to come to our Family Bible study. You will get sound Biblical
teaching and great fellowship. It begins at 10am and we have a class just for you.
SPECIAL MUSIC - We are in need of singers and musicians for our special music for Sunday morning. If
you would like to help, please let Shirley King know or call (269) 303-0330.
JUST ASK SOMEONE - This week will you ask someone to come to church? It is easy to do. Just try and
see what happens.
REMINDER: We have a Prayer dish and Praise dish in
the foyer. All are welcome to put your requests in and we will pray over these and add them to the next bulletin for prayer.
You can also go to the prayer section of this website to submit prayer requests online.
