Our Music Program
We have one of the best small church choirs in the
area! Men and women of the choir have full, rich voices and love to sing for the Lord! The choir is always open to new
members. They practice Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Catherine Nicewood is the director.
We also have a bell choir directed by Lonnie Clester.
They practice on Wednesdays at 8 pm.
Praise Band!
We have a newly formed Praise Band, made up of piano, drums,
and two guitars, and a vocalist, that plays for our Saturday night service. The group is looking for more players!

Adult Education.
We have one adult class that meets each Sunday from 9 - 10 a.m. in the Fireside Room
We also have several special studies at various times during the year such as Bible 101 - a ten-week
overview of the Bible; a four-week study of the Will of God; Discovering our Spiritual Gifts workshop; and other Bible and
Interest studies conducted by our pastor.
Disciple I & III - these popular nine month in-depth and transforming reviews
of the Bible are led by the pastor.
A Centering Prayer Group meets monthly, 10 a.m., fourth Friday.

Missions
SnowCap
This is one of the largest food pantry programs in theNorthwest.
Our church invited Snowcap to build their facility on our church property for a 40 year lease at $1 per year. Many of
our members along with other local church members volunteer at Snowcap and once a month we gather funds, food and clothing
for this mission.
Greathouse Mission
Rev. Gordon Greathouse was commissioned for themissionary field at Rockwood
UMC. We continue to support his mission work in Brazil.

United Methodist Men
Our active men's group gathers the second Sunday of each month for a 7:30 a.m. breakfast.
In February the men bake and decorate cakes to be bid upon by the ladies of the church for Valentines.
United Methodist Women
Besides raising funds for church missions, UMW holds various fund-raisers throughout the year with proceeds going for Campships for our young people.
