Thempys is the eldest of all the deities in the
pantheon and is the only deity unaffected by the Gods Fall Wars.
He disappeared shortly before wars began on some
mysterious errand, but before leaving he entrusted the portfolio
of time to Nymdyl. He reappeared shortly after the end of Gods
Fall and reclaimed the time portfolio from the Dreamer and later
established himself as patron of psionics. Where he disappeared to
is still largely unknown although rumors abound.
He holds the respect of nearly all his fellow deities except
Darkjoye and perhaps Dyrge. The Dark Jester views Thempys as 'a
stodgy, old fogey' and enjoys playing various pranks and tricks on
him. Dyrge simply could care less what Thempys thinks. For his
part, Thempys remains largely above the endless bickering,
behind-the-back talking and backstabbing. Though when angered
Thempys is a terrible site to behold, and his fellow deities are
fearful of him when his temper as been aroused. |
