Bios
Lin Marcelais, violin
A graduate of Abilene Christian University and the
University of Texas at Austin, Lin was a member of the Austin
Symphony Orchestra, 2nd violin principal of the Abilene
Philharmonic, concertmaster of the Abilene Collegiate Symphony
Orchestra and also played with San Angelo, Big Spring, Laredo,
Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Tacoma Symphony Orchestra and Ballet
Austin. She won first place in the Texas Music Teachers'
Association Post-12th Grade Orchestral Concerto Contest in Dallas,
TX. Having moved to Seattle, she now plays with the Bellevue Philharmonic
Orchestra.

Lyle Wilcox, violin/viola
While obtaining a Masters from East Carolina
University, Lyle was concertmaster of the orchestra and a member of
the Faculty String Quartet. Prior to this he was the
concertmaster with the Macon Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
Later on, he took over as principal violist. Lyle was a high school
orchestra director in Tucson, AZ for 27 years before moving to the
Seattle area, where he currently performs with the Eastside Symphony
Orchestra and the Microsoft Orchestra.

Nona Martin, violin/viola
With a BA degree in Music Education from Concordia
College, Moorhead, MN, Nona has been a school orchestra teacher.
She studied with Donald McInnes and Martin Friedmann and played in
the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, Thalia and the Seattle Philharmonic.
Most recently, she was principal violist with the Sammamish
Symphony, concertmistress of the Issaquah Chamber Orchestra, and is
now a member of the Music Performance Group.

Janet Pantoja, cello
A recent arrival from Sacramento, CA, Janet has a
Bachelor of Music Performance from California State University,
Sacramento and 25 years of experience as cellist with the Camellia
String Quartet. She has also played in a number of orchestras,
mostly as assistant cellist and principal. In the Seatte area,
she played with the Sammamish Symphony. Currently, she is a
cellist with the Music Performance Group.
