Saint Bernadette Parish is an ethnically diverse, welcoming community of Christians. We share the good news of Jesus Christ with the people we serve as we strive to grow more fully as a community in the traditions of the Catholic Church.
Recognizing our rich historical heritage, we embrace the future with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The St. Bernadette's Building Committee has been entrusted to plan church building facilities that meet the needs of the Parish. Our long term goal is to create a facility that embraces our church's ministry objectives, thus creating a tool for God's work.
The Building Committee provides advice and recommendations to Pastor and Pastoral Council.
Carry out task assigned by the Pastor and/or the Diocese of Raleigh related to the Church building by organizing projects and activities, recruiting volunteers, hiring workers/contractors, overseeing timely completion of project/activities, insuring quality results in compliance with local/state/ Diocese of Raleigh codes/policies and project completion within any budget constraints.
Prepare updates for Parish Pastoral Council meetings.
Represent the parishioner's views on the Church building by delivering recommendations, ideas, comments and/or concerns on behalf of the parishioners to the Pastoral Council and/or Pastor.
Review current building faculties on an on-going basis and plan for repairs, renovation, maintenance, accessibility, safety and space planning needs.
