Who knows you better than other teens your age — no one! See what these teens have to say about The B.E.T.H. Foundation. We think our presentation is pretty informative, but don't take our word for it — take it from them!

"Your presentation really touched me. I think it did a great deal to all the people in my class who thought 'It couldn't happen to me', and I realized that my responsibility as a driver is much more then I thought when I started this class. I want to thank you for bringing reality around to the 'immortal' teenagers... it will probably help to save a few lives down the road."
Mary, Richmond High School

"What you told us has really made me think how important it is to stay safe and know what you are doing behind the wheel of an automobile. I'm sure what you said will send out an important message that will hopefully tell all of my classmates what can happen to you when you are driving. I just wanted to say your presentation really touched me and I know that I will be forever safe when I start driving."
Caitlyn

"Your talk to our driver's ed class really affected me. I was deeply saddened by what happened to your daughter. I am so sorry. No one should have to go through that. I am really glad that you came and talked to our class; it put a lot of sense into us. I now realize even more, to be alert, and careful."
Molly, Richmond High School

"You came to our school today and made me think a lot about driving. I think that your speech helped out the whole class and would have them think twice before doing something that could change people's lives! I thank you so much for coming and talking to us, I know how hard it is to think about that, but with what you did you are helping more teens from being careless drivers and getting into collisions!."
Dana, Washington Township School

"I thought that your presentation was great! It made me realize how many risks you take once you get out on the road...I think it left all of us with something to think about when we get our license. It made a great impact on my visions of driving."
Kodi, Knightstown High

"After having you come into the classroom, every time I sit behind the wheel I think about everything that I am about to do and think twice about every risky situation I will be putting myself and others into. Your presentation was a great one, because it reminds not only the teenagers in the room, but the adults about driving. As soon as I get my car, I will be putting a reminder in there, so that no matter what, I will think before driving."
Christie, New Albany High School

"I was very touched by your story. I feel very sorry for you and I know what it's like to lose someone. I'm not ever going to say that it can't happen to me because I know that it can. Which is something that frightens me when I do drive. I'm a very cautious driver but it doesn't matter how cautious I am it still could happen to me."
Ashley, Knightstown High School

"I really am going to be a safe driver and not take it for granted or think it is a right. I thought deeply last night and decided that I was not going to be mad at my parents for not letting me get my drivers license until I am 18! I didn't understand when they told me I was not ready so I have to wait until I am 18. But I know I will be thanking my parents in the long run. I put that key chain on my keys and yesterday when I unlocked my door I looked at it and remembered what you said."
Danielle

" I wanted to thank you for coming and I think that your message had a very good impact on a lot of the students there. I lost my brother in a car accident two years ago this last December 16. He was on his way to take finals at Purdue as a freshman. The one very stupid decision he made that affected over 3,000 lives was that he chose not to wear his seat belt. It would have saved his life. My brother was a Christian who accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and life at a young age. I have very much comfort in knowing where he is at this moment and that I will see him again someday. I just wanted to let you know that your message really touched me and I found myself really relating to so much of what you said. I really enjoyed your web site too."
Courtney, Rossville High School

"I just want you to know that this is a great thing that you are doing. I had a friend die last summer when a drunk driver passed on a double yellow line over a hill. He survived and she was taken away. So it really hit home when you talked to us about your daughter Beth. It was very touching. I just want to thank you for coming and speaking. It was really inspirational."
Ashleigh, Rossville High School

"Thanks for coming and talking to us. I think what you're doing is great and it was very inspirational and touched me cause I had it happen to a family member."
