2005-Present:

President of Segue Foundation         

Created a not-for-profit, denominational consulting group for setting up community development corporations on behalf of churches.

 

2007-Present:

Adjunct Faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University

I teach business and Bible in the Adult Graduate Studies program.

 

1971-2006:

Senior Pastor in the Church of the Nazarene          

Extensive work in the ministry covering five congregations over thirty-five years. Often involved in multi-cultura ministries and urban social enterprise. 

 

1989-1991:

National Bancorp, Inc (Chicago, Illinois)          

Commercial Credit Review and Economic Development

Conducted commercial credit review at three banks owned by this holding company. I helped administrate a uniquely structured, bank sponsored,  $10.7 million dollar industrial rehab project. I had the principal administrative duties for $1.65 million dollars of government grants.

 

1990-Present:

Grant Writing and Economic Development 

Various Groups

I have written over $4.205 million dollars worth of public and private grants. I have set up and helped develop three not-for-profit community development groups.
