This model was completed in 1991. It depicts the ship as seen in the second and third season
of the original TV series.
The saucer section and warp nacelles separate for transport. Each warp drive contains 35 red
LED's on a timer circuit that shine though a disk of cracked ice ceiling time to create an effect similar to the one produced
by the original that had mirrors on a motor. The shuttlebay is open and detailed with a scratchbuilt Galileo shuttlecraft
inside.
