Paster/Evangelist/Prophet R.A.West was a great inspirational friend to our ministry.  In us, he saw two of his little sheep trained and willing to let Jesus use us to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  HE recognized our calling to preach the Word and he reached out a helping hand to help establish Jesus Name Ministries. We will forever love the man who encouraged us to spread our wings and fly.  When we told Brother West of how the Lord had spoken to us about starting our Tent Ministry, he said,  "YOU can do it."  When I grew weary from a battle concerning my kids and wanted to rest a season, Brother West said, "I know what you are feeling.  It was hard for me to leave Jay at home, sick but I had to go.  You know you have to go."  I replied, "Yes, I know."  He was there with us in every Tent Revival helping us succeed...helping the Word be preached.

The Lord used Brother West to ignite a fire within us that the gainsayers cannot extinguish no matter how hard they try.  My precious Jesus, the longing in my soul, is greater than the scoffers.  Our love for Jesus spurs us on to higher heights in the Spirit of Truth.  Brother West, our father in the Apostles' Doctrine, would be proud of our work for Jesus' Name.  I can hear him say, "You can't dream or invision anything that Jesus won't help you accomplish for His Name."
