The Apostle's Doctrine

"The Flaming Sword" is the name the Lord gave us for our Newsletter years ago. The name came about through a vision the Lord showed me of the Army of God spoken of in Joel Chapter 2.

As I beheld the Army of the Lord, they were walking swiftly with their arms locked together. Out of each saint's mouth proceeded flames of fire. Before the army there way a grassy field...but behind the army the land was dry and desolate. The Lord told me that the flames that proceeded forth from the saints was the Word of God! "The Flaming Sword of the Lord!"

Through this site the Lord Jesus has given us another outlet for the Fire of the Word to be published to all the world as a witness in these last days.

We hope you are uplifted by the messages and testimonies that we share with you.

On the following few pages we have included articles and messages from members of our church, many of them in their twenties and early thirties, who want you to know how the Lord Jesus is moving in their lives and how the Lord has miraculousy saved them.

Thus saith the Lord, I anoint thy head with oil, thy cup runneth over. As I did in the old days, I feed a multitude with fish and bread. But because of your hunger, I will send an abundance to you. Don't stray from my Word, son, I am with you. I've always been with you and have never left your side. I send tidings of joy and of knowledge for those who seek My Name. You hold the knowledge to feed multitudes. I have given you the knowledge. My presence is around you at all times. I will comfort you; I will raise you up high and show multitudes of my glory. Thus saith the Lord, I have brought you through the fire for My Name's Sake. You are as glorious as an angel. I am by your side. You are predestinated to be a servant of My Name. Let Me have My Way with you, son. I have fed you as I did the multitude. My hand is on your head; my presence is all around you. Blessed be the Lord. It is time, my son, thus saith the Lord. My hand is in your life and always has been. It's time! Don't ask WHY!! Cleanseth thy soul and I'll make you holy! That is My gift to you.

I thank the Lord for making me part of an army that will be strong and do exploits in these Last Days because we do know our God and His Name is Jesus. I thank Him for His presence in every service. He comes to feed His children, heal our bodies, and meet our every need.

In the last two months, He has performed miracles in my body. For thirteen years I had frequent kidney infections and kidney stones. JESUS HEALED ME AND THE PAIN AND INFECTIONS ARE GONE. I heard a ringing in my ears for two years. One night as the anointing touched me and I had my eyes closed, I thought someone poured anointing oil upon my head. I went home that night, sat down at my table to read, and my house was quiet. I realized at that moment that the ringing was gone. I began to cry and thank Him for what He had done for me. Then I remembered the feeling of oil being poured on my head. I felt my head for the oil but there was none there. No human poured oil upon me that night and no human could do for me what Jesus did! Praise and Honor and Glory to You, Jesus, for being all that we will ever need!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil...for thou art with me. The Lord said he would never leave us nor forsake us. Lo, I will be with you always even until the end.

It is so Wonderful to know we have Jesus. We don't have to fear anything because we know the Lord is on our side.

He gave us the power to tread upon scorpions and serpents...to put satan under our feet. The Lord said, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall we do. We have power to raise the dead, heal the sick, and cast out devils in Jesus' Name!

He gave us the power to go forth and preach this everlasting gospel...THE TRUTH THAT JESUS WAS MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH! GOD ALMIGHTY DWELT IN THAT BODY AND DIED ON THE CROSS! HE WENT TO THE GRAVE THREE DAYS AND ESTABLISHED A WILL THAT WE COULD BE SAVED AND GO TO HEAVEN ALSO! HE WENT TO HELL AND TOOK THE KEYS OF DEATH, HELL AND THE GRAVE AWAY FROM SATAN!

We don't have to be bound by satan...we have power over him. We are joint heirs of God Almighty. We belong to the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are his children. Our purpose is to be witnesses to go forth and preach JESUS to this lost and dying world...to show them the Truth, that there is hope and a life worth living...and that Way is JESUS.

The Bible says in Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for remissions of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And the Holy Ghost is Jesus. He will lead you and guide you in the paths of righteousness. He will give you peace, joy, happiness, and eternal life. The Bible says in John 14:26, The Comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things. And in 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and there three are one...NOT DIVIDED OR SEPARATE BUT ONE.

I thank God that we have the Truth, that God chose us, he called us out and placed the Truth in our hearts. We know that there is only one throne in Heaven and that God Almighty sits upon that throne and his name is Jesus. Jesus said, when you have seen me you have seen the Father also. I and my Father are one. The Bible says in John 8:24, for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

I was bound with spirits of depression, drugs and suicide. It felt as if they had taken over my body. My life was in such a mess, many times I just wanted to give up. I knew that the life I had wasn't even worth living. Thank God, He loved me when I couldn't love myself. I met Jesus in July 2005 and now I have a new life. When I repented, I told Jesus how I had made a mess of things and i just couldn't live that life any longer. I asked Him with sincerity to come into my life. And PRAISE GOD HE DID!!! Jesus revealed Himself to me...not only showing me who He is but He touched my body, delivering me from all the spirits that had a hold on me! My life has changed so much...now I have peace and joy. But most of all I have a reason to live.

I WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU! THERE IS HELP FOR ALL YOUR PROBLEMS! YOUR HOPE AND HELP IS JESUS CHRIST!

For it is written:

Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought (despise or count as nothing) thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore: judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Romans 15:4-6 For whatsoever things were written aforetime (beforehand) were written for our learning, that we through patience (perserverance) and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation (comfort) grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Churches who are called by the Name of Jesus need to mature in the Lord! Young people who come into the Church and repent need time to grow in the Holy Ghost. Then they will lay down things that are not pleasing to the Lord Jesus.

Instead we are met with judgmental people who run young Christians away rather than lend them a helping hand. Our peers need to understand that no one is perfect from the eldest in the Church to the young lambs. Preachers need to realize that they can't get in the pulpit and judge the young lambs. This will do nothing but turn them back into the world. I know because I have been treated this way in a couple of Churches. It takes time to grow in the Lord and rid ourselves of our worldly faults and ways. But when the youth finally move up the Lord will bless us greatly.

Get rid of that judgmental spirit...let jealousy go...let hatred go so that we all can work together for Jesus Name. Until the True Church of Jesus gets these carnal attributes out of our hearts, the Lord will not walk the isles of our Churches because these spirits just hinder the services.

Jesus is a forgiving God and will lead all His sheep as He sees fit. The Lord wants the Church of Jesus to grow especially the young sheep.

Matthew 18:6-7 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!

I pray people in authority will hear these words and understand that judgment shall fall upon whosoever judges His little children.

Lord Jesus, I pray for your Church and hope all can come to the knowledge of the Truth and worship in one mind and one accord. I thank you Jesus, for the path you have given me, my friends, and my family in our church. I hope to have multitudes of friends and family serving You in the Truth. Amen.
