At CTK, we offer skilled intervention that is designed to meet your child’s specific needs.  Our speech-language pathologists (SLP) have met or exceeded state and national standards and each has 15-20 years of experience.  In addition, our therapists not only strive to utilize the most effective, outcome-based therapy techniques, they are also active participants in their professional associations, including serving on the Washington Speech-Language Hearing Association (WSHA) board and numerous state-wide committees.  We strive to provide your child with the highest quality, family-centered therapy.

In addition to individual therapy provided by SLPs, we offer speech tutoring with our knowledgeable, talented speech-language pathology assistants.  Each of our speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) have graduated from programs that meet or exceed national standards, which includes SLPA-specific coursework and internships through accredited colleges.  Speech tutoring is an excellent option for families who wish to have more opportunities for their child to practice specific strategies/techniques that they learned during speech therapy.  Some families have reported that their child prefer to work in a tutoring setting.  Other families state that they believe that a speech tutor is better able to model specific language/speech.
