Our granddaughter, Iris Kaylene Neeley, was born on February 7, 2006, at 24-1/2 weeks gestation. In other words,
she was about 3-1/2 months premature--teetering right on the edge of viability. But on Friday, May 12, Iris beat all
the odds and came home. Thanks to the many family, friends, parishioners and strangers who prayed for her and for us.
God has sustained us all and made a miracle. Thanks also to Dr. Okinlami and the many nurses in the NICU of South Bend
Memorial Hospital. We owe Iris's life to you and your 24/7 care. You were compassionate, professional, and just
all-around wonderful to Iris and to our whole family during the 13-1/2 weeks that our lives were intertwined. God bless
you all!
