Let's get it on! Well, the engine at least. Here is the mounting
of the head unit.
Rear bracket mounted to the car
with the very long bolts. Thread locker on the bolts.
Head unit mounted up with the front
bracket as well. Looks gooooood.
Another shot of the whole thing
assembled to the engine.
Feeder oil line installed.
Hrere is the tensioner. Pretty
simple beast. Loosen the nut holding the pulley on, turn this
screw.
Front view of the tensioner pulley.
Turning the tensioner screw moves the pulley thru that slot
line.
Okay, so I told you that one of the main challenges was fitting this
between the engine and the radiator. The design of the Cleveland
does not lend itself to a centrifugal supercharger setup... at all. But
hey, when has that stopped me before?
There is NO space between the radiaor
and the pulleys/belt. 1 inch tops... but it fits.
There is also limited room behind
the head unit... making the inlet a challenge.
Beefy clamps... mmmmm....
Short bend obtained from Napa to
make the small juno from the supercharger to the EV carb hat.
There it is. All done. That
is an Extreme Velocity carburetor hat. Very nice design.
Complete product. The inlet
is a rubber "cobra head" elbow. It was what I could
find.
