Soon after this, Valentine was married on Sunday, 16 October 1735 to Maria Eva Stocker, daughter of Peter and Anna Stocker, in Conestoga Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Maria Eva was born circa 1716 probably in Switzerland.
Valentine apparently died before Tuesday, 16 November 1745 in Manchester Township, Lancaster County (now York County), Pennsylvania. On that date, the intestate records on file at Lancaster Historical Society indicate that he died without a will.
