I will exchange Mr. Elijah Jones for Mr. Parkley; A.I. Bunch for Robert Hurst and John Blankenship for William Cocksdale, but cannot consent to the condition that Mr. Bunch shall not be arrested. He will be permitted to take his family to your lines. If he remains on this side he will be paroled to hold no communications directly or indirectly with the Federal Forces, and so long as it is observed in good faith he will not be arrested. In 1850 US Census Robert Robert lived in 7th Civ. Dist 464/464 Birth place shown as TN for all family members. in the 1900 Census Madison Co. AR in Mill Creed TWS Line 38 sheet 11 vol 24 ED 65 his birth place is shown as Virginia, also in 1870 White River TW 24/24. Post Office Cross Hollows. in 1880 his father, and he were listed as born in Virginia. His mother was listed as being born in Tennessee. This 1880 Census was in Washington Co. Ar. Ill TWS p. 28 260/271 under David Hurst, his son.

The original information from Lena Barron, dau. of Sarah and Walter gives the birth date of Sarah as June 8, 1874. States that Sarah d. 1939; that her father was William Lewis, See Ext. Nbr. 82. I do not know if Divorce or death caused Amanda to go to her father's home to live. Amanda's Death Certificate 6 Aug. 1926 listed husband as "unknown" by Lena Barron, granddaughter.
