I had the great pleasure to work with Jim during his Hooray for
Hollywood period. A very funny man with an absolute grasp
on the absurd nature of life. He made me laugh a lot. I'll miss him. |

I came to Bert, Barz and Kirby in 1988, a scared midwestern kid
with bad hair. Jim - when I could see him through the haze
of smoke - made me feel like everything was gonna be okay. I'll never forget him for that. |

Jim amd Sandy are a treasure chest of endless sincere friendship.
Sandy and Jim came to me when I was diagnosed with breast
cancer and gave to me the most beautiful and sincere gift a person could only hope for...they were always there for me during
my difficult times of treatment. They kept my Magoo and took such good care of him when I was not able to do so. Their genuine
kindness and sincere caring will be in my heart forever. And I will always remember Jim's unforgettable smile. Magoo loved
Jim as much as Jim loved Magoo. |

We met Jim long ago, and it's been a long time since we'd seen
him. But he definitely touched our lives.
The pictures were a wonderful way to visit was him again. He was a funny and imaginative man, and we can see the wonderful
life he was living through them. Our hearts go out to you, and yours. Marlene and Jerry Yester |

Jim did not know how to be serious - I keep expecting him to come
back and say "just kidding". He truly understood the absurdity
of life. He was a loving husband to my dear sister Sandy and to all of his family was a dear, sweet, all around great guy
who always kept us laughing. |

What a gift you were, my friend. A spiritual gift? Frequently
it would seem so, because the goofy emails of joke and sayings
arrived at exactly the moment I needed to laugh. It's like you knew. I enjoyed your humor and talent so much. Many spots
we did together still grace my reel, still as fresh and funny as the day you produced them. And even though I haven't seen
you in a lot of years, it always brought a smile to know you were still out there. Plus, you were one of the precious few
who would stay to the last out at Dodger Stadium. I salute you, you beautiful rapscallion. And I wish you peace. |

My dear Papa, Even though we shared no blood, you were and always
will be my Papa! We had so many wonderful times together!
You always knew how to put a smile on my face. I remember when you were trying to quit smoking...I was swimming in the pool
when I noticed a large cloud of smoke coming from your bathroom window! You tried to deny it!!"I wasn't talking to you, I
was talking to Daphne. I lived my life to make you proud, and I will continue to make you proud from heaven. You had
an amazing
life, full of accomplishments, love, and laughter. Now your in a better place, no more suffering. I know you are having a
ball in heaven with your Red Sox jacket, hat, and ticket!! You are probably making Uncle Mike jealous! Thanks for waiting
for me so I could give you one last kiss. You'll always be in my heart. I love you so much and miss you dearly. Hugs and Kisses
xoxoxo Love Always and Forever, Jessika |
