Latin Groove Matrix was created to celebrate and bring back the nostalgic moments of my favorite Northwest Indiana Latin Clubs such as "Los Caballeros de San Juan," "La Benefica," "The K of C Hall," "The Spanish Society" "La Union Benifica Mexicana" and "Los Hijos del Borinquen."  Where the best local Latin bands performed and made a name for themselves such as "Las Sombras," "Together" and "Los Yabucaeños." Those were the days when the Latin community would gather to show their appreciation for their culture y musica Latina.  The Dances would feature Latino Folkloric Dancers to educate us about our culture.  The events would attract the young and old with everyone enjoying the moments of true celebration.  We grew to embrass our multicultural community by featuring variety of music to create diversity.  Every community should be aware of their culture so that our children can have an identity and be proud of whom they are.   In the infamous words of the song by Los Angeles Negros "Y Vorveré," meaning I shall return which is our goal.
