Pardeeville Garden Club Monthly Minutes November 15, 2004

Meeting was called
to order by President Diane Honaker
Program Chair Carol Ziehmke had nothing to report today, but will have more information
in the December newsletter.
Window Boxes & Whiskey Barrels- Margaret Sanderson is planning a day on Fri. Nov 19 to
decorate the barrels and window boxes w/ holiday greens and dried flowers. Everyone is welcome to join in.
Bring snippers, gloves & any decorative dried materials. Meet outside of the library Fri AM.
Christmas Party- Arline
and Gordon Cooper will be the hosts. The date is December 13, 2004 at 6:30 PM. Bring an appetizer or dessert to pass.
Anyone
wishing to participate in the gift exchange, bring a $10 gardening gift. Also we will be collecting canned goods for the Helping
Hands Food Pantry.
Giving Tree- Located at the Scott Dentist office on behalf of the
Pardeeville Elementary School.
A motion was made to donate $50 to purchase gifts for 2-3 children in need. The motion was seconded and passed by the general
membership. Kris Soderman volunteered to
purchase the gifts and deliver them.
Loving Lights Tree- Diane Honaker made
a donation on behalf of the
Pardeeville Garden Club in memory of our deceased members.
A donation was made to the Pardeeville
Garden Club from Pat George's family in the amount of $100. We will discuss how to spend it at a later date.
We also received
a thank you card from the library for our donation.
