The cottage is owned and operated by Lisa DeHart and Rush Austin, along with their nine year old son, Luke. A lifelong North Carolinian, Lisa grew up near Charlotte, and met Rush while living in Raleigh. Rush hails from neighboring Madison County. After marrying in 1993, Lisa and Rush decided to forsake the urban rat-race and settled in the Celo area in 1994. Rush is a computer programmer; Lisa is an artist (Click here to see her work) and yoga teacher. Luke likes soccer, baseball, reading, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars; and is learning guitar.
