Let's explore...
What does it mean to be a dork? It means to be interested in things that most people just aren't interested in.
In this day and age if you're not into mainstream music and movies or left wing ideology you're considered to be
a dork. Well, so be it. Welcome to Dorkville! Let's have some fun!

The Stimulus Package
The hot item in Washington now is passing the stimulus package to rescue the economy. Obama’s government is doing the exact opposite of what is needed.
It has been a historically proven fact that economic stimulus packages and corporate bailouts do not work as
a means to stimulate the economy. The other problem with the so called stimulus
package is that “it is so full of pork it oinks” as Charles Krauthammer aptly phrased it.
The best way to put money into the pockets of consumers is tax cuts. Of,
course, the democrats don’t want to do that because it would hurt their addiction to spending!
Deficit spending does not answer the problem and it would not generate the amount of growth the economy actually needs. It only leads to greater national debt and an even worse economic crisis. Another issue raised by Obama today is his desire to estimate the census. This would increase funding to the federal government to feed into Obama’s pork barrel spending addiction. Obama also wants the census to be supervised by the White House and not the Commerce
Department which is unconstitutional. This would be done so that Obama could
get away with his census estimation scheme. Yet another example of Obama’s messiahship!

Should Gitmo Be Closed?
The biggest outcry surrounding the
demand for the close of the Guantanamo
Bay detainment facility is the concern for human rights. I find it very amusing that when America
is the victim of a terrorist attack the people want justice. Then when that justice
is served they complain about the violation of human rights that justice caused. They
forget that the victims of these human rights violations are terrorists. Sadly
the outcry for justice for attacks on U.S. citizens never
sees to be as loud as the cry for justice for the attackers! What happens if
Gitmo is closed? The detainees have to go somewhere and we have an even bigger
problem than people claim Gitmo is. Although I am not convinced Gitmo is a problem
at all. Even if the detainees are transferred someplace else what is the difference
between that someplace and Gitmo? There is none!
So why go through all this trouble of closing Gitmo in the first place? Because
liberals have portrayed Gitmo as a problem issue and that portrayal is completely fictional!
So, we have this fictional problem conjured up by the liberals. What do
we do about it? Solution number one: send
them to alternative maximum prisons in the United States. The problem with that is that the liberals who want Gitmo closed also do not want
the detainees in their state. “They need to be moved but they can’t come here”. Solution number two: send them to Alcatraz. What then would be the difference between Gitmo and Alcatraz? All we’ve done is move the location. That
is all this debate will accomplish in the end…simply changing the location of the detention facility. Solution number three: Send them to Afghanistan where they
will be imprisoned in an area if the Taliban who will then get them out of prison, So why are we having this discussion in
the first place?
