A meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the Unitarian Church at 5310 Old Mill Road to present and discuss the preliminary plans developed by Bonar Group for this project. Bonar Group, the design consultant, will present the relatively detailed plan of the proposed location and heights of the combined earthen levee and concrete wall system for flood protection. The presentation will also include information concerning proposed access points to the park, city utility sewer­ backup pumping operations during high water events and recent changes in FEMA Policy to flood zone protection.
