For our third Community
Festival we decided to have it in the fall. October 15, 2005
was a beautiful fall day and well over one hundred people showed up
to celebrate community with us. People were entertained by the
soulful sounds of "Platonic Solids" as they perused the wares of the
many artists and crafters. There was a pottery "throwing"
demonstration as well as ball room dance lessons. The food was
fabulous (thanks to Boys-to-Men) and just like the first two
Festivals we had a Silent Auction to benefit the communities,
hay-rides, dancing, games, and much more.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from the 2005 Festival (I
neglected to take any, and I haven't received any from those who
did), but I'm trying to rectify
that. |
