Mime & Juggling

I design and facilitate workshops and residencies for all populations from the

class room to the board room.  For over 30 years I’ve taught mime and juggling for After School Programs, Arts Councils, Youth Detention Centers, Public, Private and Charter Schools throughout North Carolina and the Southeast Region.

Filmmaking

At  C.A.M.P. (Creative American Music Program) in 2005 my students wrote, rehearsed and produced a short film tribute to the art of pie throwing entitled, Pie Palooza. In 2006 we wrote and performed All That And A Sack Of Potatoes for the stage.

Playwriting

For over 25 years I taught at CYT (Community Youth Theater) in Chapel Hill, NC. During that time I developed a process of writing original plays with my students. In four weeks we improvised, took copious notes, scripted, rehearsed, performed and toured a 20-25 minute play.
