CONCERTS
- Just a reminder that there is a price to attend the Northrop
Band and Choir concerts, just as there is a cost to attend the athletic events. The school offers a season pass which
will get you into all of the regular band and choir events for the school year. These passes will be available at the
Kick Off Concert and the Yuletide Concert
and can then be used all year long.
- Something new this year...NCA will be offering concessions
before the concerts. The proceeds from the concessions will be applied directly to the cost of our new risers. These
risers are expensive but were badly needed by the fine arts department. Thanks in advance for your support!
FUNDRAISERS FOR CHARISMA
SPRING
TRIP
- The first payment (which reserves your spot) of
$50 is due November 1. Since we have outfit payments and trip payments coming in at the same time, please make
sure your trip payments are clearly marked so they can be applied correctly to your account.
ACCOUNT BALANCE
- If you need an account balance, please email Greg Hoos at
greg.hoos@verizon.net
- Financial Aid forms are available in the choir room. If
you need help with your Charisma fees, please do not hesitate to fill out the financial aid form. We have money budgeted
to help those who need it. We will be awarding these scholarships in December.
What can I say except "Wow what a great start!!!" I think Charisma 2008 is off to an
incredible start and I can't wait to see where this group goes!!! I would like to begin by thanking all the kids in
Charisma for an incredible show Thursday night at Bluffton!!! You were great! The parents,
grandparents and friends that were there to support us were fantastic! You gave us energy and support throughout the
show and that really kept us pumped up! I loved watching that stage sway back and forth and the energy our kids had
on stage!! It's hard to believe we are just a few weeks into school and we've already come so far...I can't wait to
get started on our competition show!!!! I would also like to congratulate our back up band on being so great!!
Not only were they incredible at Bluffton, but I got the chance to watch them at Angola(where they beat Snider for the 2nd
time this year)and they were awesome!! We are so lucky to have the best back-up band around!!!
On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone for being so supportive during the passing
of my grandmother. She was my final grandparent and it was a difficult time, but through the strength of God and the
support of so many caring people it eased the pain. Thank you to all the students who sang at the funeral, gave me cards,
and said so many nice things. This is what I love about Charisma...we are one big family!!!!
In the word of one of the judges Thursday night..."you're going to have a great year"...I
already have, just being lucky enough to direct such a wonderful group!!!!
Thanks for all you do!!!
