Fans of Shaw Brothers films from the 70's will recognize this trademark Ti Lung image - shirt off, sword in hand. Ti
Lung starred in many Shaw Brothers films during the 70's with frequent co-star David Chiang.
Ti Lung is perhaps best known to modern film fans for his role as Jackie Chan's father in "Drunken Master 2" and Chow
Yun Fat's buddy in "A Better Tomorrow".

Ti Lung (L) and David Chiang (R) |
Ti Lung's first starring role was in Chang Cheh's "Dead End", set in 70's Hong Kong and co-starring David Chiang. The story focused on Ti Lung's character, a womanizing, rebellious youth whose lifestyle finally catches up with him.

Favorite Movie
My favorite Ti Lung movie is "The Blood Brothers". This Chang Cheh directed extravaganza features Ti Lung and David
Chiang as blood brothers turned rivals.
This costume epic has fantastic scenes set in Imperial China and Ti Lung's transformation from small time criminal to
ruthless warlord is fascinating to watch.
