The Isiah Center is having a special commemoration for family and loved ones who have moved onto their second life. Sarah and I sponsored a star to honor Tristan. We sponsored a white star with a baby blue trail. These stars will be displayed from 7-9 at Parkview Field every night until Friday March 5th. It is an amazing way to honor Tristan since he indeed lights up our night. We just wish we could sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to him as he goes to sleep. That is one of the many things I can't wait to do again. But next time it will be in Heaven.

Last weekend Sarah and I hung out with some good friends of ours and their 4 amazing children. This has been a best friend of mine since I was in high school and someone that I consider a true role model. Not just a role model to me but to anyone who has met him. We talked about life, family and a subject that is often shunned; religion. We had a great talk amongst us adults discussing Angels, Christianity and a topic that is heavy in our mind which is Heaven. As our faith continues to grow and absorb into our minds and hearts the bible becomes a major learning tool. A learning tool that Sarah and I will utilize as a family and study as a family. To understand where you are going you have to understand where you came from. Knowing Heaven is our goal we want to know about Heaven and what Tristan could be going through. Heaven is perfection. In life we cannot understand perfection, our minds will not allow it. All we know is Tristan is just waiting for us to come see him. By waiting I mean it is like we never left his side.

A bizarre but amazing thing happened last week at church also. Sarah and I go to an informational class with the church starting my journey to become converted to a Lutheran. We sat near the front of the church since we were there early. When the pastor's were giving the service I was in awe. It was like a sports arena or rock concert. It was a completely different experience from that perspective. I hung onto every word they said, even though I had heard them talk many times. Just another sign to me that Tristan is okay and God is what we need to focus on. My fear was being welcome and comfortable. God took that fear away.
