Mike was
selected for appointment to the Council in May 2005 when Councilmember Jack Start passed away mid term. Mike was elected to a two year term in November 2005, and is seeking re-election to a full four year term
in this November’s election. He is fully versed in the duties and responsibilities
of serving our city as Councilmember, and is up to speed on the issues facing our City and the programs being developed to
address them.
Mike also
serves the City in these additional capacities:
- City representative for WRIA 8 Salmon Recovery Council
- Council liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board
- Member of Capital Facilities Plan development committee
- City Representative to Tambark Creek Park Master Plan Advisory Committee
- City Representative to Sno-Isle Libraries Long Term Capital Facilities Plan Advisory group
