A 1935 Grunow model 750 World Cruiser, 7 tube, 4 band, tombstone radio made by the General Household Utilities Corp.
One of my favorites. This thing is big and heavy, weighs about 50 lbs. An excellent performer, and was
the crowning achievement for Grunow in the 1930s for table radios, being the biggest one they made. People on eBay fight
over these models, and they pay top dollar for them. Absolutely beautiful woodwork.

This is the largest tombstone radio in my collection (not quite 3 feet tall), but doesn't weigh all that much.
A 1936 Silvertone "World's Fair" model 4422. This one has the AC chassis installed, a 6 tube, 3 band setup. Had
a good chassis and speaker but no case, and this case had no chassis (was battery powered, anyways), so put them together,
and viola! Sure is a beauty!
