Music
David is a militant, hard-core, classical fanatic. (BACH, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Respighi, Vaughn-Williams, Holst, Grieg, Sibelius, etc.) Dave sings bass with the The Arcadian Chorale and two church choirs. He also plays the trombone with the Franklin Band (organized 1880).
Larry is into "progressive rock" (aka "Art Rock") such as Yes, Pink Floyd, FM, Emerson Lake & Palmer, etc.
Larry: "Closed-minded pedant!"
David: "Uneducated barbarian!"
Cats
Larry really likes cats. He has two cats, Tigger & Rody, and sometimes seems to become a cat himself. (is he really a werecat??)
Dave has no problem with cats, but REALLY!!!
Larry: "MEOW!!"
David: "Ummm, nice kitty...."

David: "It's not as bad as it was earlier. Yeah, it's still a bit too much Melrose Space, but it no longer induces vomiting. Besides, Jeri Ryan is cute!"
Larry: "It's so bad even Jeri Ryan's looks can't save it. I don't even bother watching anymore."
