Our affiliation with the Premera family of health plans allows us to consolidate and offer multiple Employer Stop Loss coverage features that would typically be contracted through different carriers - including an independent claims review and audit service that’s available at no charge. This product is designed for groups with 80 or more employees.

Benefits that may be included for Employer Stop Loss:
  • Specific stop-loss coverage is available in various deductible levels, ($20,000 to $500,000) based upon size of group and group needs
  • Aggregate stop-loss is available from 120% to 130% of expected claims
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drugs and Short Term Disability coverage may be included
  • The stop-loss contract basis can be: 12/12, 15/12, Paid such as a 24/12, or 12/15
  • A minimum of 80 employees is required to quote Stop Loss coverage
  • Stop-loss coverage from States West Life includes, at no cost, an independent and extensive claims review and audit service
  • Stop-loss from States West Life is administered by NorthStar Administrators, Premera’s own TPA
