Ron Stollings headed the Madison-Danville Wellness Trail Project which has proven to
be well received by the Madison-Danville area community. Promoting good health and exercise is just one of the many issues
that Dr. Stollings has promoted in Boone County. Through
his persistent effort and the doctor’s ability to grab the bull by the horn and organize a grassroots effort, the Wellness
Trail became a reality and the community has benefited greatly. Governor Gaston
Caperton recognized Dr. Stollings’ determination when he presented him with the State of West Virginia Enhancement Program funding approval for Madison-Danville Wellness Trail. The day with the governor represented a victory for Stollings, in behalf of the two
communities.
