Obituary: Daniel W. Knowlton, 60, of 404 E. Howell St., a commercial artist for Weisfield's, Inc., died Thursday at his home.
    Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Bonney-Watson chapel. Cremation will follow.
    Born in Seattle, Mr. Knowlton attended Franklin High School. He worked for the Foley Sign Co. and the Corey Sign Co. before he went to work for Weisfield's about eight years ago.
    Mr. Knowlton was a member of the Eagles Aerie in Issaquah and Local 435, Sign Painters' Union.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harris Donnel, and a son, Noel F. Knowlton, and his mother, Mrs. Marie Knowlton, all of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Thomas, Bellevue, and Mrs. I. N. Rummelin, Issaquah, and five grandchildren.
    The family suggests remembrances to the Children's Orthopedic Hospital.

He was a commercial artist by profession, working for many years as a card writer for Corey Sign Co. and Wiesefields. He was a member of E.0.E. number 3054 Issaquah, and belonged to Sign Painters Union Number 435.
