HERTEL-In loving memory of our dear husband, father and grandfather, William Hertel, who entered into rest May 12, 1962. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." Sadly missed by; Wife, Margaret Children and Grandchildren

I always associate Uncle Bill with Handel's MESSIAH. As I read the words on his stone, I and almost hear him proclaim in his loud, positive voice, I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH (Job 19 25). This was the theme of his life, and in the stillness I am reminded of his readiness to witness for the Lord as a Gideon, a Sunday School teacher, and a lay speaker.
